Living Savior Preschool is looking for caring, dependable teachers to join our team!
We are currently seeking candidates for both Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher positions.
We are looking for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a warm, Christ-centered preschool community. Whether serving as a Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow in God’s love.
The Lead Teacher is responsible for leading the classroom and implementing the curriculum provided by the preschool. This includes guiding classroom activities and routines, building relationships with children and families, and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Lead Teacher responsibilities include:
Implement the preschool curriculum and daily classroom activities
Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Guide children through learning activities, play, routines, and transitions
Build positive relationships with children and families
Work collaboratively with the director, the head teacher and the preschool team
Help maintain an organized and welcoming classroom
The Assistant Teacher works alongside the Lead Teacher to support the classroom and the children throughout the day.
Assistant Teacher responsibilities include:
Support the Lead Teacher with classroom activities and routines
Help provide a positive and nurturing classroom environment
Assist children during play, learning activities, and daily routines
Help with transitions and classroom supervision
Support the safety and well-being of all children
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
Work cooperatively with the director and the teaching team
For both positions:
Experience working with young children preferred
Dependable, patient, caring, and enthusiastic
Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
A heart for children and Christian education
Active participation in a local congregation
For Lead Teacher:
Degree or experience in Early Childhood Education preferred
Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Ability to confidently lead a classroom and implement curriculum
